And when I look into the eyes of those we are Here to Love and Here to Serve. I KNOW…

I have always said it is not a case of how can you do this work; It has always been a case of how can you not?

I love this world and I love all the people that are created and loved by God, especially those that don’t know it yet.

And I want to tell the world and spread the Love

My earliest memories were a desire to be a missionary, however my life went down a different path. I am a mother of 4 and a grandmother to 6 children, so far.

It was not until 11 years ago that I first came to Thailand, with a team, bringing Australian teenagers to experience an overseas mission field. When I arrived, The Lord spoke a word to me, “I have called you to Thailand.”

During 3 such trips, it was like my heart was enlarged with love for Thailand, but also, God opened my eyes towards Burma. He spoke to me, “I have given you the children of the mountains, educate them and you will win them to Christ”. The Lords plans and purposes for our life are in His timing, and He has begun this ministry to educate and bring salvation to the children of the mountains of Thailand and Burma.

Ever since I was a child, I have wanted to help people in poverty, people without a voice people who don’t know God’s love. My heart is to share this love with everyone He puts in my path. For now, God has led me here, working with Help Save the Kids to provide children with an opportunity for hope through education and knowledge of Jesus.

As a teacher, I believe education is the key to ending the cycle of poverty. I am inspired by seeing the difference education makes in children, in communities, in countries.

But most of all I believe that love is what is needed. If we do all these things without love our difference can only be minimal. God’s love is what transforms lives. I pray I can be a reflection of God’s heart of love to those I am called to serve.
